Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony of ICEBTM 2025 brought the two-day conference to a dignified conclusion at The Westin Dhaka. The session began with warm welcome remarks from Prof. Dr. Raisul Awal Mahmud, who expressed gratitude to all participants and highlighted the collective effort behind the event’s success. This was followed by Prof. Dr. Daniel W. Lund, Pro Vice Chancellor of IUB, who reflected on the value of academic–industry collaboration and the knowledge shared throughout the conference. Mr. A. K. M. Shahnawaj, Managing Director (CC), Dhaka Bank PLC, then provided his remarks, where he appreciated the collaborations, discussions, and presentations of the conference.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Tamim then addressed the audience, acknowledging the significance of the research presented and the dedication of the organizers. Didar A. Husain, Chairman of IUB’s Board of Trustees, extended heartfelt thanks to the entire organizing committee while commending the researchers, faculty members, and students for their contributions to ICEBTM 2025. Conference General Chair Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib provided an overview of the conference outcomes, including the background of the event, the number of submissions, the accepted papers, and the future directions of ICEBTM. Following Prof. Habib’s remarks, international and national participants provided their comments, appreciating the conference.
A standing ovation was given to a group of seven students who worked tirelessly for months to ensure the success of the conference, recognizing their exceptional commitment. Certificates were then handed on stage to members of the organizing committee, while it was announced that the remaining certificates would be distributed later. The ceremony concluded with the awarding of the six best papers of the conference, marking a fitting end to ICEBTM 2025.
